Physiology in Focus 2027

Welcome to Physiology in Focus 2027, taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, from July 1–4, 2027 — a joint meeting between the Scandinavian Physiological Society and The Physiological Society, UK.

We warmly invite scientists, clinicians, students, and innovators from across the physiological sciences to join us for four inspiring days dedicated to discovery, discussion, and collaboration. The meeting covers all areas of physiology — spanning organ systems, biological scales, different species and experimental models, as well as novel methodological approaches — with a shared focus on understanding function in both health and disease.

Physiology in Focus 2027 will showcase the latest exciting findings and novel concepts that are shaping the future of physiology. From molecular and cellular mechanisms to integrative and translational physiology, the meeting aims to fosters interdisciplinary exchange and aims to spark new ideas across the field.

Set in the vibrant city of Stockholm during the height of the Scandinavian summer, the conference will provide an inclusive and stimulating environment for scientific interaction, networking, and collaboration across career stages and disciplines.
